Production Time: Standard lead time is 10 working days after proof approval. For quantities greater than those listed in catalog, or piece thickness greater than 26 mil call for details.
Rush Service: For orders requiring less than minimum lead time, call for schedule and quotes.
Payment Terms: We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express or cash in advance. Net 30 terms are available upon request for orders over $500. Late charges are 1.5% per month.
Overruns & Underruns: Plus or minus 5%; any variance will require written authorization and may necessitate additional charges.
Packaging: All products are bulk-packaged in quantities determined by MAI based on size and magnet thickness. Boxes will have one product description label and will weigh approximately 45-55 pounds each.
Cancellation Charges: There will be a minimum $50 charge for cancelled orders. After any phase of job preparation, customer will be required to pay for all work and/or materials incurred at time of cancellation.
Shipping: All shipments are F.O.B. Durham, North Carolina or Irvine, CA.
Prepaid Shipments: Subject to a 6% service/handling charges.
Split Shipments: On same date, to different addresses: $8.50 per address. On different date, to same address $8.50 per date, maximum 30 day span.
Returns: Factory must be notified prior to returning any merchandise; return authorization will not be given on any materials after 30 days from shipping.
Limited Liability: Factory’s maximum liability is limited to refund or replacement of product; under no circumstances shall liability include special or consequential damages beyond cost of product produced at Magnetic Attractions. Failure to file claim of faulty performance within 30 days of ship date will constitute a waiver of all such claims against factory.
Rights To Promotion: Magnetic Attractions reserves the right to use any items produced in displays, catalogs, flyers, advertisements and other promotional uses, unless indicated on purchase order or in writing.
Custom Sizes & Larger Volume Quotes: For any items not listed in our catalog, call a CSR for pricing. Quotes are usually returned within 12-24 hours of your request. It should be noted that some jobs may not lend themselves to production on the digital press, thus necessitating a different set of ordering guidelines. For example, any job that requires metallic inks cannot be produced on the digital press. Your Magnetic Attractions salesperson will advise you of these instances, and other available printing options as needed.
Proofs: Your initial color proof is provided to you free of charge. This proof does not show exact color. If color is critical we recommend the purchase of a Digital-Offset Press Proof; cost with no magnet is $100. Die lines are printed on the color proof or supplied on an overlay. If a production proof is waived, results must be accepted. Electronic proofs are for content only and cannot be used for color approval. Standard lead time for proofs is approximately 1 to 2 working days.
Repeat Orders: Due to technological advances repeat orders may not be an exact color match.
Order Confirmation & Proof Approval: No verbal orders or proof approvals will be accepted without faxed or e-mailed verification.
Typesetting of Imprint Area: Up to 6 lines of type can be set at typesetter’s discretion at no charge.
Copy Changes: $15 per copy change, maximum of 2 copy changes per 500 pieces.
